Quality Engineer (Automation & AI)

Job Summary

To support a unified Quality Engineering function, the remote Quality Engineer (Automation & AI) will design risk-based test strategies, automate testing processes using AI-assisted workflows, and enhance software delivery quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement risk-based test strategies, converting them into automated coverage using AI tools
• Build and maintain automated test suites with Playwright integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence quality practices and improve test suite health

Required qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with proficiency in modern programming languages
• Experience with modern test automation frameworks, preferably Playwright
• Demonstrated ability to utilize AI coding agents for code generation and maintenance
• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar
• Proven track record of enhancing automation coverage and improving software quality outcomes
