Quality Engineering Coordinator

Job Summary

Seeking a proactive and collaborative Quality Engineering Coordinator for a remote contract position, responsible for bridging testing strategies with cross-functional teams, managing test plans, and facilitating communication among stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between project teams and stakeholders to align testing efforts and facilitate test planning meetings
• Design and manage structured test plans utilizing Waterfall methodologies, ensuring alignment with SDLC frameworks
• Compile testing metrics and status reports, providing updates during project calls and managing issue escalations

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Project Coordination
• Proven experience managing project deliverables across multiple functional teams for at least 5 years
• Deep practical experience developing and executing structured Waterfall test plans for a minimum of 5 years
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA's role within it
• Proficiency with QA management tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps
