Quality Engineering Lead

Job Summary

Owning the quality strategy across AI-native products, the full-time Quality Engineering Lead will design and execute performance, automation, and functional testing at scale while embedding quality into the development lifecycle in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the quality engineering roadmap, including testing strategy and automation standards
• Design scalable performance testing frameworks and identify reliability risks before production
• Build and maintain automation frameworks across various testing layers while leveraging AI tooling

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of quality engineering experience with ownership of testing infrastructure for production systems
• Strong hands-on experience with automation engineering and performance testing at scale
• Proficiency in building maintainable automation frameworks and tooling in Python and/or TypeScript
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing workflows and unique quality challenges of LLM-powered systems
• Strong understanding of functional and risk-based testing strategies
