Quality Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Quality Engineering Manager to lead a team of Quality Engineers embedded in Agile squads.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Quality Engineers, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
• Oversee resource allocation across squads and enforce quality standards through release readiness gates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation paths and ensure post-release quality through root cause analysis

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing a quality-focused engineering team
• Proven track record of driving defect leakage metrics down and maintaining quality outcomes
• Strong judgment and proactive communication skills in ambiguous situations
• Technical expertise in Quality Engineering practices and familiarity with AI tools in QE
• Experience mentoring team members on test design and automation strategies
