Quality Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of Quality Engineers and Software Development Engineers in Test, the full-time remote Quality Engineering Manager will drive quality practices across the engineering organization, focusing on risk-based exploratory testing and automation while mentoring team members and collaborating with product and engineering leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach QEs and SDETs to ensure alignment with the quality engineering strategy
• Drive automation maturity and support the lifecycle of testing checks and suites
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align quality activities with delivery goals and risk tolerance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering
• Strong understanding of modern quality engineering practices, including exploratory testing and test automation
• Proven ability to coach and mentor engineers on technical and strategic skills
• Experience with agile workflows and DevOps practices
• Excellent communication skills for conveying risk and quality insights to diverse audiences
