Job Summary
To enhance the testing infrastructure for a rapidly evolving fintech platform, the full-time remote Quality Engineering Platform Engineer will design and maintain shared test automation frameworks, ensuring quality practices are embedded in development workflows across engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and own shared test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and backend services
- Build and maintain reliable test execution infrastructure, including flaky-test detection and triage tooling
- Partner with engineering teams to improve test coverage and testing maturity throughout the development process
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in test automation, QE engineering, or backend/platform engineering with a strong testing focus
- Deep experience in designing and building test automation frameworks and tooling (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Cypress)
- Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js or similar languages, with experience architecting test frameworks
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS) and containerized test environments
- Familiarity with API/integration testing and end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications
