Quality Engineering Specialist
Job Summary
Partnering with product owners and developers, the full-time Quality Engineering Specialist will ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle for application modernization initiatives, focusing on automated testing frameworks and cloud migration efforts, with the option to work remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, and cloud-native solutions
- Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to define acceptance criteria and establish quality gates throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Develop and execute automated testing strategies, including functional, regression, and performance testing across modernized application environments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Five years of experience in software quality assurance, quality engineering, or test automation
- Three years of experience developing automated testing solutions using tools like Selenium or Cypress
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and modern software delivery practices
