Job Summary
Supporting quality improvement initiatives, the full-time remote Quality Improvement Coordinator will manage chart chase, medical record abstraction, and HEDIS review activities while ensuring accurate clinical data collection and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and conduct HEDIS data collection, abstraction, and improvement initiatives
- Support UPMC Health Plan Committee functions, ensuring organized and documented meetings that align with health plan goals
- Guide Health Plan employees on adherence to accreditation standards and quality improvement initiatives
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of healthcare experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; PowerPoint and Access proficiency preferred
- Knowledge of NCQA Standards and HEDIS specifications preferred
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and management is a plus
