Job Summary

Supporting quality improvement initiatives, the full-time remote Quality Improvement Coordinator will manage chart chase, medical record abstraction, and HEDIS review activities while ensuring accurate clinical data collection and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and conduct HEDIS data collection, abstraction, and improvement initiatives
  • Support UPMC Health Plan Committee functions, ensuring organized and documented meetings that align with health plan goals
  • Guide Health Plan employees on adherence to accreditation standards and quality improvement initiatives
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of healthcare experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; PowerPoint and Access proficiency preferred
  • Knowledge of NCQA Standards and HEDIS specifications preferred
  • Experience with data collection, analysis, and management is a plus
