Job Summary
Quality Improvement Specialist is a full-time salaried position responsible for collaborating with management to evaluate and improve HEDIS data and processes through team facilitation and quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct business process analysis to identify improvement opportunities and develop solutions
- Lead improvement work teams and facilitate meetings to manage projects effectively
- Analyze data and prepare presentations to support quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience required
- Minimum of five years of healthcare or managed care experience required
- Experience with the Model for Improvement (PDSA) preferred
- Medicaid and/or Medicare experience preferred
- Certification in healthcare quality (CPHQ or ASQ) preferred
