Job Summary
Leading initiatives to enhance patient care, the full-time remote Senior Quality and Safety Specialist will monitor quality metrics, promote a culture of safety, and mentor junior staff within the radiology department.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, including patient outcomes and readmission rates
- Lead performance improvement projects related to patient safety and quality of care
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study required
- Master's Degree in a related field of study preferred
- 3+ years of experience in quality improvement, patient safety, or a related field within a healthcare setting required
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality improvement methodologies
- Ability to lead or mentor staff
