Job Summary
Leading quality improvement initiatives, the full-time Quality Improvement Specialist (HEDIS) II will manage HEDIS measures, train stakeholders, and monitor performance indicators while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Train providers and staff in continuous quality improvement methodologies and HEDIS processes
- Analyze and track performance on contractual quality indicators and prepare reports for various stakeholders
- Develop and implement quality performance improvement plans (PIPs) and monitor their progress to closure
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or Quality, or equivalent healthcare experience
- 2+ years of experience in Quality, with strong knowledge of HEDIS and performance measures preferred
- Experience in clinical medical record abstraction and quality improvement best practices
