Quality Lead

Job Summary

Leading a team of QA analysts and QE engineers, the full-time remote Quality Lead will manage quality outcomes for CRM, C&I, and Web teams, acting as the primary contact for quality during sprint cycles, releases, and design discussions while fostering a culture of shared quality ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and career development conversations with QA analysts and QE engineers, managing performance and coaching for growth
• Serve as the quality point of contact by attending sprint planning, writing acceptance criteria, and identifying risks before they reach UAT
• Own sprint testing and functional test coverage coordination across covered teams, ensuring clarity on responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Experience leading or mentoring a QA/QE team, preferably in a matrixed organization
• Proficiency in both hands-on testing and people leadership, including coaching and performance management
• Strong communication skills to translate technical quality risks into actionable insights for stakeholders
• Familiarity with modern QE practices, including CI/CD pipelines and API/service-layer testing
• Ability to quickly ramp up on complex business domains, with energy/utility experience being a plus
