Job Summary
To support quality improvement initiatives within a healthcare organization, the full-time remote Quality Management Specialist will design and implement quality management procedures, lead structured improvement projects, and analyze process performance to meet organizational and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support structured quality improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or DMAIC
- Review current processes and provide recommendations for updates to comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Manage Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) and ensure execution of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) in collaboration with leadership
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a quality management role
- Demonstrated experience with structured quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC)
- Working knowledge of managed care and utilization review accreditation standards, including URAC and NCQA
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification preferred
- High School Diploma required; preference for a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
