Quality & Regulatory Specialist
Job Summary
To support a growing portfolio of premium pet brands, the full-time Quality & Regulatory Specialist will lead investigations, manage regulatory compliance, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance product quality, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead investigations into customer complaints and product defects, driving corrective and preventive actions
- Manage state product registrations and serve as the primary contact with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance
- Maintain quality documentation and monitor trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, Animal Science, or a related scientific discipline
- 1 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field
- Experience in regulated manufacturing industries such as pet food, food & beverage, or pharmaceuticals
- Strong investigation and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
