Quality Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare system, the full-time remote Quality Specialist will develop and implement clinical data review activities, manage data collection and entry, and collaborate with healthcare staff to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct timely data collection, entry, and validation from electronic health records into specified databases
• Develop and present reports on organizational performance related to assigned registries and regulatory bodies
• Provide education on registry and regulatory measures to stakeholders and new staff, while assisting in mentorship and onboarding

Required qualifications:

• BS, BSN, or BA in healthcare administration, nursing, health informatics, or a related field with at least seven years of experience in an acute care setting
• Minimum of four years of experience in a Quality Services role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic healthcare record systems
• Knowledge of DNV, CMS, and National Registry requirements for various service lines
• Current state licensure in area of healthcare training, if applicable
