Quality Technician

Job Summary

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the full-time Quality Technician will perform laboratory testing on raw and finished products, ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and manage lab equipment and supplies during 12-hour day shifts from 6 am to 6 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical testing on products and document results for compliance with specifications
• Train new technicians and maintain calibration and inventory of lab equipment and supplies
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain cleanliness in the lab environment

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of quality experience in production or manufacturing
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with neat and legible handwriting
• Capability to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs frequently
• Understanding of lab equipment and ability to generate accurate records
• Familiarity with computers and adherence to safety and GMP policies
