Quantitative Analytics Associate

Job Summary

Supporting the development and validation of predictive and machine-learning models, the full-time Quantitative Analytics Associate will conduct quantitative analysis on large data sets, identify data errors, and answer key business questions while working under supervision in a remote or onsite environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative analysis on large data sets with team support
• Identify common data errors and their impact on business outcomes
• Build visualizations to find patterns or anomalies in data

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, financial engineering, data sciences, or related quantitative field with at least 1 year of relevant experience; 0 years with a Master's or PhD
• Understanding of data wrangling, descriptive statistics, and common distributions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS
• Familiarity with model building concepts, including training and validation sets
• Basic writing skills and developing ability to organize information clearly
