Job Summary
Supporting the development and validation of predictive and machine-learning models, the full-time Quantitative Analytics Associate will conduct quantitative analysis on large data sets, identify data errors, and assist in the integration of AI tools while working in a remote or onsite environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative analysis and testing on existing data tied to economic capital modeling frameworks
- Support the team's transition toward AI-generated code and enhance processes through automation
- Collaborate with team members to explore and answer key business questions related to risk and capital modeling
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, financial engineering, data sciences, or related quantitative discipline, with at least 1 year of relevant experience (0 years with a Master's or PhD)
- Understanding of data wrangling, descriptive statistics, and basic economic capital modeling concepts
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS, including experience with data connection and basic functions
- Familiarity with model building concepts, including data leakage and validation sets
- Exposure to or interest in AI and machine learning tools, including generative AI platforms
