Quantitative Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative financial tools, the full-time remote Quantitative Engineer will build client-facing APIs, model complex structured finance transactions, and enhance on-demand reporting tools while collaborating with a diverse team.

Key responsibilities

• Build client-facing APIs and AI-powered tooling by designing RESTful endpoints and integrating structured finance knowledge
• Model complex structured finance transactions by extracting deal structures from various legal documents
• Enhance and go to market with dv01's on-demand reporting tool in partnership with the Credit Facility Reporting team

Required qualifications

• Over 6 years of experience in engineering with a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Extensive knowledge of structured finance, including securitizations and credit facility transactions
• Familiarity with web application development, including APIs and databases
• Interest in AI and API design, with prior experience being a plus
• Detail-oriented with the ability to think abstractly and explore innovative solutions
