Working remotely, the full-time Quantitative Engineer / Python Developer will write quantitative and statistical functions in Python, build and validate financial models, and manage AWS-hosted infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Write quantitative and statistical functions in Python within the client's existing plug-in framework
- Build and validate models, including signals and statistical analysis applied to financial data
- Run tests against the framework's test suite and deliver outcomes based on defined project scopes
Required qualifications
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status
- 2+ years of experience in Python for quantitative or statistical modeling
- Strong background in mathematics and statistics, including probability, distributions, regression, and time series
- Applied experience with financial or market data
- Working knowledge of AWS
