Job Summary
Combining software engineering with quantitative thinking, the full-time Quantitative Software Engineer will design and build next-generation poker analysis and training tools, leveraging deep poker knowledge and modern AI development tools while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build poker analysis and training tools from concept to production
- Develop features that enhance players' understanding of game theory, ranges, and strategic decision-making
- Translate loosely defined product ideas into practical software solutions with minimal supervision
Required qualifications
- Strong practical and theoretical understanding of No-Limit Texas Hold'em poker
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science or Mathematics
- Strong software engineering skills with the ability to independently design, build, test, and ship production-quality software
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering productivity
- Comfortable working with ambiguous problems and taking ownership from idea to implementation
