Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer, the successful candidate will implement and test cryptographic algorithms using programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java, while advising on quantum resistant algorithm migration and collaborating with cross-functional teams to communicate quantum risks.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize programming languages for implementing and testing cryptographic algorithms
- Advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration plans and post-quantum cryptography implementation strategies
- Assess organizational cryptographical inventory and provide policy guidance aligned with NIST PQC standards
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5 years in quantum computing and cryptography
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages and frameworks such as Qiskit and Microsoft Quantum Development Kit
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography and existing cryptographic standards
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
