Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer, this remote position will implement and test cryptographic algorithms using programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java, while advising on quantum resistant algorithm migration and collaborating with teams to communicate quantum risk to leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize programming languages to implement and test cryptographic algorithms
- Advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration plans and post-quantum cryptography implementation strategies
- Assess organizational cryptographical inventory and provide policy guidance aligned with NIST PQC standards
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5 years in quantum computing and cryptography
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum programming languages
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography and existing cryptographic standards
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
