Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer, the position will utilize programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java to implement and test cryptographic algorithms while advising on quantum-resistant algorithm migration and post-quantum cryptography strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and test cryptographic algorithms using various programming languages
- Advise on quantum-resistant algorithm migration plans and post-quantum cryptography implementation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quantum risk to non-technical leadership
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5 years in quantum computing and cryptography
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages and frameworks such as Qiskit and Cirq
- Knowledge of existing cryptographic standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 19790)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science or Cybersecurity
