Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer will implement and test cryptographic algorithms, advise on quantum-resistant algorithm migration, and communicate quantum risk to non-technical leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java for cryptographic algorithm implementation and testing
- Advise on quantum-resistant algorithm migration plans and post-quantum cryptography implementation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess cryptographical inventory and provide policy guidance aligned with NIST PQC standards
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5 years in quantum computing and cryptography
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum programming languages such as Qiskit and Cirq
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography and existing cryptographic standards
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Cybersecurity or Computer Science
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
