Job Summary
Utilizing programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java, the full-time Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer will implement and test cryptographic algorithms, advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration plans, and assess organizational cryptographic inventories while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and test cryptographic algorithms using various programming languages
- Advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration and post-quantum cryptography strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quantum risk to non-technical leadership
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5 years in quantum computing and cryptography
- Expertise in quantum mechanics and quantum algorithms
- Familiarity with quantum programming languages and frameworks such as Qiskit and Cirq
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography and existing cryptographic standards
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
