Job Summary

To support federal government clients, the full-time Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer will utilize programming languages to implement and test cryptographic algorithms, advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration, and collaborate with teams to communicate quantum risks in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Implement and test cryptographic algorithms using Python, C++, and Java
  • Advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration plans and post-quantum cryptography implementation strategies
  • Assess cryptographic inventory and provide policy guidance aligned with NIST PQC standards
Required qualifications
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5 years in quantum computing and cryptography
  • Expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum information theory
  • Proficiency in quantum programming languages and frameworks such as Qiskit and Cirq
  • Experience with existing cryptographic standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 19790)
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
