Job Summary
A company is looking for a Quantum Cryptographic Engineer to support cryptographic discovery, risk assessment, and transition planning for U.S. Army programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Army programs on PQC transition activities and cryptographic modernization under senior engineer direction
- Conduct cryptographic discovery, inventory, and risk assessments across enterprise and mission systems
- Execute and operationalize automated cryptographic discovery and contribute to migration roadmaps
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cryptography, or related disciplines in federal or defense environments
- Secret Clearance at a minimum
- Ability to meet or working toward DoD 8140 qualification requirements
- Working knowledge of RMF principles and familiarity with eMASS
- Foundational knowledge of cryptographic engineering concepts including PKI, key management, and secure protocols
