Quechua Video Interpreter

Job Summary

To facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient community, the remote Quechua Video Interpreter will provide interpretation services in various settings, including medical and legal environments, as an independently contracted interpreter.

Key responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service during interpretation sessions
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and maintain confidentiality standards
• Complete required training and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Quechua
• Familiarity with industry standard best practices for interpretation
• Ability to provide a high level of client service
• Access to personal or public transport
• Industry-specific certifications or training preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
