R Programming Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an R Programming Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the adoption of the R programming language by migrating SAS and VBASIC legacy programs to R
• Conduct code reviews and technical assessments of legacy programs for suitability for migration
• Develop and maintain documentation related to migration activities, including programming specifications and validation plans

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Minimum 8 years of experience in statistical programming, preferably in the medical device or biopharmaceutical industry
• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAS, R, and SQL
• Experience in transitioning statistical analysis programs from SAS to R
• Experience in SAS and R for clinical trial data analysis and supporting ETL pipelines
