Rabbinic Associate Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Congregational Transition Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide congregations through critical transitions and provide expert consultation on major changes
• Serve as a strategic advisor to clergy and lay leaders during key lifecycle moments
• Support high-priority congregations with tailored strategies to enhance engagement and resilience

Required Qualifications

• Rabbinic or cantorial ordination required
• Senior or solo clergy experience in a URJ congregation strongly preferred
• 5-8+ years of experience in congregational leadership, consulting, or transition work
• Significant experience working with congregational boards, clergy, and senior leadership
• Demonstrated experience advising on complex organizational, ethical, or personnel matters
