RACF Architect Consultant

Job Summary

Leading strategic security solutioning and implementation, the remote RACF Architect Consultant will assess, scope, and design multiple RACF and z/OS UNIX System Services security projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the assessment, scoping, and architectural design of RACF and USS security project solutions
• Define target-state architectures and guide engineering teams through implementation and validation processes
• Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and implement effective security solutions

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a mainframe security architect or senior engineer
• Expert-level knowledge of IBM RACF and IBM zSecure
• Deep expertise in z/OS UNIX System Services (USS) security
• Proficiency with JCL, REXX, and CARLa for automation and security tooling development
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management best practices
