Radar Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Radar Operations Engineer to monitor and support global radar operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the global radar network, ensuring radar availability and high-quality sensor data
• Take restorative action during anomalies and escalate issues as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design processes and identify automation opportunities

Required Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in a STEM field or equivalent hands-on experience
• Experience in an operational environment such as a Network Operations Center (NOC) or mission control
• Background in incident management and ability to triage anomalous activity
• Ability to read/understand Python scripts and work in a command-line interface
• General understanding of RF principles and modulation
