Radar Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Radar Software Engineer to develop and enhance software for ground-based radar systems, with responsibilities including software implementation of radar algorithms and interfacing with embedded systems, in a hybrid work environment based in Huntsville, Alabama.
Key responsibilities
- Develop software implementations for radar algorithms and interface with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and FPGAs
- Create unit and integration tests for new and existing codebases while participating in Agile development practices
- Document software designs and functionalities for product documentation and performance improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, math, physics, or engineering-related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience
- US Citizenship and active DoD Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain one
- 5+ years of experience with C++11 or later, CMake, and practical Linux usage
- Version control experience using Git or GitLab
- Ability to work in-office for hardware integration and testing
