Radar Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Radar Software Engineer with expertise in C++ to develop and enhance software for ground-based radar systems, working in a hybrid environment in Huntsville, Alabama, while collaborating on software designs, implementations, and testing.
Key responsibilities
- Develop software implementations for radar algorithms, including low-level signal processing and high-level tracking
- Create software to interface with embedded systems and develop testing tools for firmware
- Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning and code reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, math, physics, or engineering-related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience
- US Citizenship and active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
- 5+ years of experience with C++11 or later, CMake, and GCC for ARM and x86-64 targets
- Practical experience with Linux and version control systems like Git
- Ability to work in-office for hardware integration and testing
