Radar Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support innovative radar technology initiatives, the full-time salaried Radar Systems Engineer will develop, implement, and test signal processing algorithms for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery, focusing on both prototype and production-level code in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate SAR algorithms for Airborne Moving Target Indicator (AMTI) applications
- Contribute to advanced processing techniques and design tailored SAR collection parameters
- Participate in agile software development processes and mentor junior engineering team members
Required qualifications
- M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical discipline
- 7-10 years of experience in radar signal processing and remote sensing algorithms
- Proficiency in Python and version control software, preferably Git
- Complete understanding of SAR imaging modes and focusing algorithms
- Experience working in cross-functional teams to develop complex technical solutions
