Radiation Therapy Clinical Reviewer

Job Summary

To ensure appropriate service utilization, the full-time Radiation Therapy Clinical Reviewer will review provider requests for documentation, authorize services based on clinical guidelines, and verify coding accuracy while working remotely during Pacific Coast hours.

Key responsibilities

• Review provider requests for completeness and request additional documentation as needed
• Authorize services or procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines and escalate to physician reviewers when necessary
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain professional relationships with providers

Required qualifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in good standing
• Ability to work the required shift of 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM PST, with occasional weekends and holidays
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, EMR systems, and internet navigation
• 2-4 years of experience in Utilization Management (preferred)
• Must be able to work Pacific Coast hours from any location
