Job Summary

A company is looking for a Radioactive Material Transport Engineer to support advanced nuclear energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development of nuclear packaging and transportation programs
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations for radioactive materials transport
• Act as a technical point of contact for nuclear material transport activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 2-10 years of engineering experience
• Familiarity with nuclear industry environments
• Ability to read and interpret government regulations related to radioactive material transport
• Experience with hazardous material transport, especially Class 7 radioactive materials, is preferred
