Job Summary
To support advanced nuclear engineering projects, the full-time contract Radiological Engineering Analyst will perform radiological calculations, develop licensing documentation, and provide technical support for pressurized light-water reactor programs in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform radiological engineering calculations and analyses using industry-standard software
- Develop technical analyses for nuclear licensing activities and regulatory compliance
- Prepare and defend licensing documentation for commercial nuclear reactor projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Radiological Health Physics, or a related ABET-accredited engineering discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in nuclear engineering, radiological engineering, or health physics
- Experience supporting PWR or BWR licensing development and defense
- Proficiency in performing nuclear analyses using software such as SCALE 6, MCNP, ADVANTG, RADTRAD, and NRCDose
- Strong understanding of nuclear regulatory requirements and licensing processes
