Radiological Integration Engineer

Job Summary

To support nuclear facility operations, the contract Plant Radiological Integration Engineer will work remotely to coordinate design integration with plant radiological analysis, shielding requirements, and ensure alignment between design and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate between design teams on radiological release analysis, shielding design, and plant operations
• Develop and generate guidance documents related to Radiation Protection and Shielding
• Lead cross-cutting analysis and design decisions while integrating results into plant design delivery

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline from an accredited university
• 10+ years of experience in radiological protection/health physics at a commercial nuclear facility
• Experience with radiation protection design and shielding/source term analysis
• Familiarity with Monte Carlo N-Particle (MCNP) code for complex geometry analyses
• Previous experience with nuclear reactors or similar high-performance systems design
