Radiology AR Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Radiology AR Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit AR claims to insurance carriers based on regulations and policies
• Monitor and follow up on claim status, denials, and unpaid accounts
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate claim handling

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in medical billing, with at least 2 years in Radiology AR Billing
• Knowledge of billing platforms such as eClinicalWorks or Athena
• Strong understanding of state-specific workers' compensation rules and fee schedules
• Familiarity with medical records and documentation requirements for claims
• Preferred: Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or similar certification
