Radiology Coder

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Physician Coder: Radiology will review and accurately code professional services, including evaluation and management, diagnostics, and procedures, ensuring compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer guidelines for optimal reimbursement.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and accurately code Radiology and Multispecialty E/M cases to maximize timely reimbursement
• Meet daily production and quality goals, maintaining a 95% accuracy rate
• Stay current on coding guidelines and communicate effectively with leadership on coding issues

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma required; Associate or BS degree preferred
• Completion of an AHIMA or AAPC-certified program with an active professional credential (e.g., CCS-P, CPC)
• Minimum of 3 years of recent physician coding experience in Radiology and E/M leveling
• Proficient knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines
• Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic healthcare record systems
