Radiology Coordinator

Job Summary

To support efficient radiology operations, the part-time PRN Radiology Coordinator will serve as a key liaison between radiologists, clinical teams, and referring physicians while managing physician calls and preparing exams for interpretation in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage physician calls, verify identities, and connect clinical teams with radiologists as needed
• Prepare exams for interpretation by attaching prior exams and documentation while monitoring worklists
• Provide technical and operational support across PACS, RIS, and other radiology information systems

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Healthcare, Administration, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of healthcare operations experience
• Strong understanding of healthcare and radiology information systems, including PACS and RIS
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
