Radiology Patient Scheduler

Job Summary

To support patient care, the full-time Radiology Patient Scheduler will manage appointment scheduling for complex procedures, ensure accurate registration processes, and maintain communication with various hospital departments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments for specialized procedures and coordinates resources for patient services
• Ensures patients have necessary information for their procedures and that the hospital has accurate billing details
• Performs administrative support duties, including managing correspondence and maintaining open communication regarding schedule changes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least three (3) years of related customer-facing healthcare experience required
• At least one (1) year of experience scheduling or preregistering patients required
• Associate's Degree or completion of a Medical Terminology course preferred
• Proficiency in scheduling or preregistering patients within basic services preferred
