Radiology QA Analyst

Job Summary

To support diagnostic reporting accuracy, the remote temporary Radiology QA Analyst will review, edit, and assure the quality of diagnostic radiology reports generated through speech-recognition technology, ensuring compliance with established standards and improving radiologist efficiency across various modalities.

Key responsibilities

• Review and edit diagnostic reports for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting errors in medical terminology and formatting
• Create and maintain diagnostic reporting templates, ensuring consistency and usability while supporting continuous improvement efforts
• Collaborate with radiologists and operations teams to resolve reporting issues and adapt to new workflows and technologies as needed

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of medical transcription, medical language editing, or diagnostic reporting QA experience
• 3+ years of direct Radiology transcription/report-editing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with speech-recognition-generated medical documentation and familiarity with platforms like PowerScribe 360
• Post-secondary education or formal training in Medical Transcription, Medical Language, or related discipline preferred
• Advanced knowledge of radiology and medical terminology, including a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
