Job Summary
To support diagnostic reporting accuracy, the remote temporary Radiology QA Analyst will review, edit, and assure the quality of diagnostic radiology reports generated through speech-recognition technology, ensuring compliance with established standards and improving radiologist efficiency across various modalities.
Key responsibilities
- Review and edit diagnostic reports for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting errors in medical terminology and formatting
- Create and maintain diagnostic reporting templates, ensuring consistency and usability while supporting continuous improvement efforts
- Collaborate with radiologists and operations teams to resolve reporting issues and adapt to new workflows and technologies as needed
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of medical transcription, medical language editing, or diagnostic reporting QA experience
- 3+ years of direct Radiology transcription/report-editing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with speech-recognition-generated medical documentation and familiarity with platforms like PowerScribe 360
- Post-secondary education or formal training in Medical Transcription, Medical Language, or related discipline preferred
- Advanced knowledge of radiology and medical terminology, including a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
