Radiology Quality Control Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Radiology Command Center, the full-time remote Quality Control and Assurance Specialist will manage workflow improvements, oversee compliance with quality standards, and facilitate communication between radiologists and referring physicians.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve radiology processes to enhance efficiency and patient safety
• Assist in the management of external read requests and ensure timely reporting of findings
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and support continuous quality improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Familiarity with radiology and reporting tools such as Nuance, PowerScribe, and PACS
• Understanding of quality control and assurance protocols in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards related to radiology services
