Job Summary
To support the Radiology Command Center, the full-time remote Quality Control and Assurance Specialist will manage workflow improvements, oversee compliance with quality standards, and facilitate communication between radiologists and referring physicians.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and improve radiology processes to enhance efficiency and patient safety
- Assist in the management of external read requests and ensure timely reporting of findings
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and support continuous quality improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Familiarity with radiology and reporting tools such as Nuance, PowerScribe, and PACS
- Understanding of quality control and assurance protocols in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards related to radiology services
