Job Summary

To support patient scheduling needs, the full-time Radiology Scheduler will manage appointment bookings, verify insurance information, and ensure pre-certification approvals while working remotely during standard business hours from Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to insurance verification processes
• Perform medical necessity checks and communicate financial responsibilities to patients prior to service
• Collaborate with physicians and departments to enhance patient satisfaction and meet departmental goals

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years of previous hospital registration or business office experience preferred
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines and protocols
• Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively
• Experience with patient demographic data and insurance verification processes
