Radiology Scheduler

Job Summary

To enhance the patient experience, the full-time remote Radiology Scheduler will manage scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling imaging appointments while collecting patient information and collaborating with medical staff to ensure a smooth process.

Key responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive patient scheduling in Cerner & GECB, including medical history, insurance, and exam preparation
• Proactively contributes to quality and performance improvement initiatives within the organization
• Exhibits professional and empathetic interpersonal skills, prioritizing patient interactions and maintaining confidentiality

Required qualifications

• High School GED or Diploma
• One (1) year experience in a centralized scheduling call center or two (2) years clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in keyboarding and experience with standard office equipment and software
• Team player with the ability to multi-task and a proactive approach to work
