Job Summary

To enhance the patient experience, the full-time remote Radiology Scheduler will manage comprehensive patient scheduling for imaging appointments, including collecting demographics, verifying insurance, and coordinating with medical staff while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manages patient scheduling in Cerner & GECB, including medical history, insurance verification, and exam preparation
• Contributes to quality and performance improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for enhancement
• Demonstrates effective resource management and prioritizes work to meet deadlines while maintaining professional interactions

Required qualifications

• High School GED or Diploma
• One year of experience in a centralized scheduling call center or two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Proficient keyboarding skills and experience with standard office equipment
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work as a proactive team player
