Job Summary

To support patient scheduling needs, the full-time Radiology Scheduler will manage appointment coordination for various diagnostic imaging services in a remote work environment, ensuring a compassionate and efficient patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound patient interactions to support scheduling and coordination of diagnostic imaging services
• Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm patient appointments across multiple service lines, including CT, MRI, and X-ray
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding imaging services, appointment availability, and insurance verification while documenting all interactions accurately

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of six months of experience in a healthcare contact center or customer service environment preferred
• Required work-from-home experience in a secure and distraction-free environment
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Windows-based systems and CRM or scheduling platforms
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
